Cleveland Rocks

Fun fact: when I wrote “Leaving Ohio“, I wanted to insert a “Cleveland Rocks!” from the Drew Carey Show theme after the “don’t try Cleveland!” line.  I didn’t for fear of some sort of copyright claim.  Someday….

Why do I bring this up?  Well, as mentioned in the last post, I completed a trade with jgerutfan9.  He took several Indians / Guardians off my hands.  Let’s see what he got!

Bowman Chrome Minis!

Cheap Fun Breaks busted open a few of the 2017 Bowman Chrome mini sets and I think I got the Indians twice.  I have them in the penny sleeves so you can judge their size relative to a regular card.

Left-to-right, top-to-bottom are 2016 Bowman Draft Badley Zimmer (#BD-130) followed by 2017 Bowman Chrome minis of Francisco Mejia (#BCP-51), Nolan Jones (#BCP-69), Yu-Cheng Chang (#BCP-79), Triston McKenzie (#BCP-118), Juan Hillman (#BCP-145), Bobby Bradley (#BCP-157), and Rob Kaminsky (#BCP-182).

2017 - 2020

Somewhat chronologically, the next group are from 2017 – 2020.

Pictured, left-to-right, top-bottom, we have 2017 Bowman Draft Yu-Cheng Chang (#BD-7) and Triston McKenzie (#BD-125), 2017 Topps Update Boone Logan (#US-165), 2018 Bowman Draft Thomas Ponticelli (#BD-42) and Triston McKenzie (#BD-162), 2020 Bowman Chrome Sapphire Tyler Freeman (#BCP-40), and 2020 Topps Heritage Shane Bieber (#454).

2021 Bowman

I really feel like Topps reached with some products the last few years.  Exhibit A: the “1st Edition” sets.  Not a fan.

Pictured, left-to-right, top-bottom, five 2021 Bowman 1st Edition:  Nolan Jones (#BFE-35), Carson Tucker (#BFE-77), Tyler Freeman (#BFE-119), Bo Naylor (#BFE-124), and Jose Tena (#BFE-128).  They are followed by a 2021 Bowman Chrome 40-Man Futures Gabriel  Arias (#FMF-28), a 2021 Bowman Chrome Draft Franchise Futures Doug Nikhazy / Gavin Williams (#FF-10), and a 2021 Bowman Chrome Tyler Freeman (#BCP-182).

Sapphire

Don’t call Ben Stone but there are more sapphires in this trade!

Pictured, left-to-right, top-bottom, 2021 Bowman Chrome Sapphire Triston McKenzie (#6), Tyler Freeman (#BCP-119), and Gabriel Arias (#BCP-172).  They are followed by two 2021 Bowman Draft 1st Editions: Angel Martinez (#BD-34) and Ryan Webb (#BD-57).  Following them are three 2021 Topps Big League: Zach Plesac (#219), League Leaders Bassitt / Keuchel / Bieber (#251), and League Leaders Abreu / LeMahieu / Bieber (#257).

Red Sox in the Laundry

The first of three non-Cleveland cards in the trade.  Pictured, left-to-right, top-bottom, two 2021 Topps Chrome Platinum Anniversary: Domingo Santana (#590) and Julio Franco (#594).  Next, we have two 2021 Topps Heritage: Yu Chang (#542) and Eddie Rosario (#562).  A 2022 Bowman 1st Edition Jhonkensy Noel (#BPPF-2) makes it’s way, followed by a 2022 Topps 1st Edition Eli Morgan (#217).  Finally, two 2022 Topps Chrome: Jarren Duran (#113) and Emmanuel Clase (#130).

A Royal and Oriole

Pictured, left-to-right, top-bottom: 2022 Topps Chrome Heart of the City Jose Ramirez (#HOC-7), 2022 Topps Chrome Platinum Anniversary refractors of Shane Bieber (#189) and Bob Feller (#383), a 2022 Topps Heritage Bobby Witt, Jr. (#520), 2023 Bowman Chromes of Gunnar Henderson (#10), Angel Genao (#BCP-140), and Jaison Chourio (#BCP-226), and finally a 2023 Donruss Brayan Rocchio (#70).

Finally....

Finishing things off with 2023 Bowman Platinum cards of Joe Lampe (#TOP-50) and Chase DeLauter (#TOP-90) and a 2023 Topps Heritage Kenley Jansen / Emmanuel Class (#208).

Wonder if this guy knows Dave?
