Easter Bunny Brought a Trade

The Easter Bunny brings chocolates and candy to little kids.  Well, it also brought a completed Beckett trade.  Let’s see what I shipped out to flood and fire Monday morning!

John Kruk

Several Kruk-ster cards.  A 1987 Donruss (#328) rookie and a 1988 Topps (#596) show him with the Padres.  Then, in his well-known Phillie uniform from 1991 Stadium Club (#227) and Fleer (#402 … love the yellow) and 1995 Topps (#572).

Bowman Top 100s

Two from 2022 (top row) and two from 2023 (bottom).  The card number matches their ranking.

Bummer about Marte’s 80-game PED suspension.

(mostly) Junk Wax Era

The 1979 Topps Tony Perez (#495) is a nice add, especially as an Expo.  The 1982 Donruss Diamond King Mike Norris (#19) I wasn’t sure how I got a duplicate.  Two 1984 Donruss White Sox (#86 Jerry Hairston and #570 Salome Barojas) finish that top row.

Bottom row starts with Dmitri Young (#7F) and Reggie Sanders / Ryan Klesko (#1F) from 1991 Upper Deck Final Edition.  Then, 1993 Fleer cards of Freddie Benavides (#402) and Chris James (#531).  I love a trade that picks off commons!
